This is Gallantry.

Ten historic landmark residences with a history as Officers Quarters, renovated with a discerning eye for detail, and fully-equipped with a passion for modern conveniences.

Historic Officer's Row at Lowry circa 1940sLowry’s Officer’s Row Housing is a Denver Landmark historic renovation, located at the highly visible intersection of Quebec and 6th Avenue. The 3,100 square feet single-family homes sit on 9,000-15,700 square foot lots with spectacular mountain views.

In compliance with historic guidelines, the facades of each home will remain the same, the only changes being new historically accurate clad wood windows and new sunrooms with three walls of windows. Although the houses will look almost entirely exact, the distinguishing elements will be in the landscape design and homeowner’s interior finishes.

Lowry
For over 60 years, Lowry Air Force Base has been an integral part of history for the city of Denver and the US Air Force. Originally located near East 38th Avenue and Dahlia on what is now the Park Hill Municipal Golf Course, Lowry was relocated in 1937 to its current location near 6th Avenue and Quebec Street. The Officer’s Quarters now known as Gallantry were added in the 1940’s. Named for Denver native US Army Lt. Francis B. Lowry who was killed in action during World War I, Lowry became President Eisenhower’s “summer white house” from 1953-1955. The Jimmy Stewart movie The Glenn Miller Story pushed Lowry into the movie spotlight as several scenes were shot on location in 1953. Lowry remained a very active part of the Air Force’s training programs until it was closed in the early 1990’s. Over it’s many years and many uses, Lowry has remained an important part of the Denver landscape and although it no longer functions as a military facility, it’s rich history will remain even as it is being redeveloped into a distinctive community that will undoubtedly serve as a model for things to come.

          UrbanThrive Real Estate

The founders of UrbanThrive Real Estate identified an overwhelming need for Realtors who are focused on the city of Denver and the surrounding urban neighborhoods. To that end, UrbanThrive Real Estate was created out of necessity and desire. UrbanThrive was founded on a very simple principle - provide superior tools, attention and education to help buyers, sellers, and investors achieve their real estate goals.
We believe community is important. Deeper than that, we believe close knit communities, such as communities that develop in urban neighborhoods are extremely important as they become the bedrock for new relationships, friendships, businesses, churches, art, politics and culture.
